When it grows up, the leaflet degenerates, and the petiole becomes a petiole. The petiole is leathery, lanceolate, 6-10 cm long, 5-13 mm wide, straight or slightly present. Falcate shape, tapered at both ends, slightly blunt at the apex, hairless on both sides, with 3-5 distinct longitudinal veins.
